Chapter 9.12 GAMBLING

- 9.12.010 Prohibited.
No person shall within the limits of the city play at or conduct, operate, open or carry on any game whatsoever for money, property or any article of value; provided, that this section shall not apply to acts prohibited by Sections 330 to 337h of the State Penal Code and acts permitted by Chapter 5.28 and Section 326.5 of the State Penal Code. (Prior code § 11-19)
- 9.12.020 Same-Permitting on premises.
No person shall permit any game, the playing of which is prohibited by Section 9.12.010 to be played, conducted, dealt or carried on in any house or room within the limits of the city, owned or rented by such person in whole or in part, or under such person's control; provided, that this section shall not apply to acts prohibited by Sections 330 to 337h of the State Penal Code or acts permitted by Chapter 5.28 of this code and Section 326.5 of the State Penal Code. - 9.12.030 Visiting gambling places.
No person shall visit or remain in any room or place in the city where any game prohibited by Sections 9.12.010 and 9.12.020 is being carried on. (Prior code § 11-21)
