Chapter 13.24 WATER WELLS

13.24.010 Permit-Required

Any person, before drilling, digging or sinking any water well within the city, or before tapping or penetrating any of the subterranean water-bearing gravels underlying the city, shall obtain a permit from the director of public service so to do. (Ord. 5112 § 29, 1996: prior code § 9-55)

13.24.020 Permit-Appeal on denial.

Any person aggrieved by the action of the director of public service in granting, refusing or limiting any permit referred to in this chapter may appeal therefrom to the council within the time and in the manner provided in Chapter 2.88. (Ord. 5112 § 30, 1996: prior code § 9-56)
