At week 11 of the 14-week fire academy, Glendale Fire Department's 13 recruits continue to learn the skills necessary to become safe and proficient firefighters. Burbank and Pasadena Fire Departments are also participating in this tri-city academy, with graduation scheduled for August 1.
Fire Explorers Graduate
Congratulations to Class 20 of the Glendale Fire Explorers who graduated on June 7 at the Glendale Fire Training Center.
With record-low rainfall last winter and the high temperature/low humidity conditions typical of this time of year, fire danger remains unusually high.
